Nikki Preston has been lighting up the airwaves and screen for more than a decade, hosting countless shows and conducting a wide variety of celebrity interviews. Known for her quick wit and infectious energy, Nikki currently hosts middays from 10am–2pm on 96-7 KCAL Rocks, where she was voted #1 Local Radio Personality of 2023 by readers of The Press-Enterprise, San Bernardino Sun, and Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
Her journey began in her hometown of Rochester, NY, where she first hit the mic as a host on The Zone @ 94.1 and co-host of Get Out of the House, a News 10 NBC segment highlighting the best weekend happenings (basically, she was your social life plug). She even produced and starred in her own fitness segment, Fit with Nikki, setting the stage for a career defined by versatility and drive.
Building on that momentum, Nikki made her mark across major markets, becoming morning show producer/on-air talent for the Jesse Duran Show on KOLA 99.9 and later joining The Dana and Jayson Show on ALT 94.9 in San Diego. She even did a stint in Las Vegas as overnight Host for CBS Radio, with additional appearances as morning show co-host for iHeartMedia’s Brother Wease Show and Entercom’s Team PXY.
But Nikki’s talents extend far beyond radio. She’s also made a name for herself on screen, appearing in hit shows like Gossip Girl, Law & Order, Lipstick Jungle, One Life to Live, Rescue Me, Cupid, and the indie cult classic Rise of the Animals. Fans of pop culture commentary might also recognize her from her lively panel work on AfterBuzz TV in Los Angeles. She’s also a seasoned spokesmodel, appearing in campaigns for major brands such as Kodak, The Learning Annex, and Dodge. Basically, if there’s a camera or a mic, Nikki’s been in front of it and loving every second.
And you can always catch Nikki’s podcast, You Got Ten Minutes, available on all major platforms. There, she and her co-hosts dive into quick, candid conversations packed with lots laughs.
When she’s not on air, Nikki’s exploring the globe. A passionate traveler, she’s visited 36 states, 20 countries, on 6 continents, even launching her own travel channel to document her adventures and inspire others to see the world.
A proud graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and Communication, Nikki also completed Stonestreet Studios Screen Acting Conservatory at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Whether behind the mic, in front of the camera, or halfway around the world, Nikki Preston brings bold energy, genuine passion, and an unmistakable spark to everything she does — and she’s just getting started.
